Biki Ambassador Program

With support from the Better Bike Share Partnership, Biki is looking for Ambassadors to help us better connect to communities within our service area that need more affordable in-town transportation options. Ambassadors will rely on in-person and digital outreach to educate individuals about the benefits of cycling and how to use Honolulu’s bikeshare service.

Program Period: July 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021

Program Expectations for a Biki Ambassador:

  • Attend a minimum of 3 Ambassador rides. One ride and discussion will be offered each month.
  • Distribute and document free ride passes and memberships giveaways with community groups, providing information and education as needed.
  • Provide and document any community feedback on Biki bikeshare including questions, complaints, suggestions, etc. Prepare to discuss challenges and opportunities during Ambassador rides.
  • Optional: community events, digital content creation, and other opportunities will be offered throughout the 6 month pilot program for the chance to win prizes.

Qualifications: Ambassadors must be residents of Oahu and at least 16 years of age. We are seeking representation from different neighborhoods within our service area and looking for Ambassadors who are involved with other community groups and organizations. Applicants do not need to be current Biki Members but must be comfortable riding a bike.

This is a 6 month pilot program and we encourage participants interested in helping us establish a sustainable Ambassador Program to extend beyond the pilot.
